Tropik Sun® began in the summer of 1980 in downtown Chicago as a specialty retail chain offering a variety of nuts, dried fruit, trail mixes, carob/yogurt covered nuts and fruit, as well as fresh squeezed orange juice. Today Tropik Sun® has evolved to include a diversified and wide variety of "fun-munchies", gift items and thirst-quenching refreshments including over 20 flavors of gourmet popcorn, along with all sorts of sweet, chocolate-covered, crunchy, fruity and festive candies.

Over the past 30 years, Tropik Sun® grew throughout the Midwest and Southwest eventually expanding to over thirty states from New York to California. Our latest expansion will be to the frontier of the Internet -- our new online store will be launching in Spring 2010 offering a wide selection of our delicious gourmet popcorn.
